Questions about your MOT
How do I find out when my MOT is due?
Type your registration number into the checker above. It shows the date your MOT runs out, and the result and advisories of your earlier tests. The date is also printed on last year's certificate.
What is an MOT advisory?
Something the tester noticed that was not bad enough to fail the test, such as a tyre getting low or a part starting to wear. It is worth getting looked at before your next MOT, so it does not become a fail.
How early can I get my MOT done?
Up to a month (minus a day) before it runs out, and the new certificate keeps the same renewal date. Test any earlier and your renewal date moves.
Is this checker free?
Yes. It uses the official MOT records, and you only need your registration number.
Can you book my MOT for me?
Yes. Use our online booking form or call us on 01296 706969. A service adviser reviews every booking and confirms your time.
