Free winter kit: terms and conditions
The small print for our free winter kit offer, in plain English. Please read it before you claim.
These terms apply to the free winter kit offer run by M D Auto Care Ltd, 54/55 Rabans Close, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8RS (we, us, our). By completing our winter kit enquiry form and claiming a kit you agree to them. If anything is unclear, call us on 01296 706969 or email info@md-autocare.co.uk before you book.
The offer
You get one free winter kit with each service you book with us and have carried out at our garage. A kit contains:
- A de-icer
- Screen wash
- An ice scraper
Who can claim
- You must be 18 or over.
- You must complete the winter kit enquiry form on one of our Facebook or Instagram adverts, with your own correct name, mobile number and vehicle details.
- The offer is for private and business customers who book a service for a car or van with us. It is not open to garages, dealers or the motor trade.
How to claim your kit
- Complete the winter kit enquiry form.
- We send you a voucher by WhatsApp to the mobile number you gave us.
- Show that voucher to us (on your phone is fine) when you drop your vehicle off for its service.
- We hand you your kit at drop off.
How long it lasts
Your voucher is valid for up to 3 months from the date you complete the form (the date we send it to you). Your service must be booked and carried out within that time, and you must show the voucher at drop off. After that the voucher expires and no kit is due.
What counts as a service
The offer applies to any servicing work we carry out: an interim, intermediate or major service, or a service we tailor for you. It does not apply to an MOT on its own, repairs on their own, diagnostics on their own or any other work that is not a service, unless we agree in writing before you book.
Limits
- Each voucher can be used once, for one kit, with one service.
- One voucher per person and per vehicle. Completing the form more than once, or with someone else's details, does not earn extra kits.
- The voucher is personal to you. You cannot sell it, give it to someone else or swap it for money or any other goods or services.
- The kit is only available when a service is booked and carried out. If you cancel your service or do not bring your vehicle in, no kit is due.
- If you take a kit and then cancel the service, we may ask you to return it or pay a reasonable charge for it.
- The offer cannot be combined with other offers or discounts unless we tell you it can.
About the kit
- Kits are subject to availability. The brand, size and design of the items may vary from any pictures we show, which are for illustration only.
- If we run out of a kit, or an item in it, we may give you an equivalent kit or item instead. We do not offer a cash alternative.
- The items are chemical products. Use them only as the label says, keep them out of reach of children and pets, and do not swallow them or get them in your eyes. Please read the label before you use them.
Our rights
- We can refuse a voucher, or a kit, if we reasonably believe the form was completed with false details, the offer is being misused or abused, or the voucher has been copied or altered.
- We can change or end the offer at any time, for example if the winter season ends or stock runs out. If we do, we will still honour vouchers we have already sent you until they expire, unless something outside our control stops us.
- We are not responsible for a voucher that is not received or opened because the mobile number you gave us was wrong, your phone could not receive WhatsApp messages or you have blocked our number. If your voucher does not arrive, call us and we will check your details.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law as a consumer, and nothing limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, the kit is a free gift, and we are not responsible for loss or damage that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Your information
We use the details you give us on the form to send your voucher, to contact you about your enquiry and booking by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email, and to carry out your service. Our privacy page explains what we do with your information and your rights: it is at md-autocare.co.uk/privacy.
General
These terms and the offer are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute, although that does not take away any right you have to use the courts where you live. If we do not enforce part of these terms straight away, we can still do so later. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
We may update this page from time to time. The terms that applied on the day you completed the form are the ones that apply to your voucher. This version was last changed on 4 November 2026.
